Locked antivirus question.

just wondering as most medicine programs are detected as viruses. If the programs are Zip ( winrar ) or in iso format can the antivirus corrupt the files anyway or are they safe from getting corrupted.

If you place the files in a zip/rar/iso, the antivirus can scan inside those formats and detect them as long as the zip/rar has no password, assuming you set the options to scan compressed files.

@cocomunk with other words ...
when you rar or Zip the medicine then the anti virus program will NOT see it ...
except when the anti virus program is configured that it should also scan inside rar and Zip files

@cocomunk you can remove files from archives and images, if you can do it a program can do it also. It is just a matter whether this feature has been implemented in a given anti virus solution.
