Review
The application is an exciting solution for those who want to play movies without spending too much time finding codecs and setting up an app exclusively for this job. It has a straightforward and clean interface with user-friendly settings menu that hides tons of configurable settings. BS.Player provides a user with smooth playback of all the popular video and audio formats. If necessary codecs are missing from a user computer, it can automatically download and install them.

Furthermore, if a user loads a movie that lacks the adjacent subtitle files, BS.Player will automatically start looking for the right one on the Internet within subtitle databases. This program can also be fully controlled by connecting a remote control and configuring the integrated WinLRC component. BS.Player can display two external subtitles (.srt, .sub, .txt, ...) at the same time. A user can select a position of both subtitles and enjoy dual subtitles in two different languages with a favourite movie. BS.Player also supports displaying subtitles in .mkv files for those high-resolution movies with subtitles. The application also supports embedded subtitles/chapters, not only for OGM but for all formats. It means that also the subtitles, embedded in the file itself, can be played (.ogg, .avi, .mkv).

BS.Player enables a user to drag and drop a file to play multimedia even if it is being archived in multiple volumes as .rar. Simply right-click on the first file of the .rar archive (usually filename.rar or filename.001) and select "Open with BS.Player". BS.Player will even correctly display subtitles from double rared Vobsubs!

Because it has a friendly impact on system processing power, the application accurately handles video files and it is suitable for slightly less capable computers. This media player offers audio/video capturing means, and the user can take frames and thumbnails out of the video stream as well. More experienced users are given a chance to extremely tweak every aspect of filtering the signal to get the desired results.
