Thanks so much! I did the trial and it's just what I need - esp for converting from Kindle for reading personally and sharing. I don't trust Amazon not to just *poof* "lose" my book collection then charge me to replace the books.

I cant remove DRM with this version I had to update which installed the trial version non-portable. Works for now but will probably stop working.

there's other software that remove DRM and I'm sure they might be posted here just google them and search our forum!
