Help required regarding windows defender

I have downloaded remove defender from Mr Spacely's thread and after trying it i have succeeded in remove the defender but to my surprise defender is still there and doing its duties very obediently.

When ever i try to donwload any application from this site and try to use the c****k but it doesn't work as the defender in the background is deleting it, iam not able to control it bcoz coultn't not find it any where . If i find it any where through search it doesn't open. The application window freezes with white background. Somebody please help me to overcome this issue, as i couldn't format my pc as i have photoshop beta installed working like a pro without expiry.

First of all the program you are reffering at the beginning is for disabling windows defender and not removing it.

Because sometimes finding a reliable AV has its own problems keeping it activated and up-to-date
I leave defender alone and use DefenderUI great little program allows you to temp disable defender -
you can add exclusions for files and folders, once you have installed your programs' defender can be turned back on

As some mod said few weeks ago in some thread. Microsoft has upgraded their anti virus and Microsoft defender is now just as reliable as any other AV. If you don't have a particular preference for AV, then just let Windows Defender be as it is. You can always turn on/off defender and the major drawback of removing Defender is that they crawl back into system upon Major Updates of Operating System, so unless you know for sure that Defender isn't coming back again, save yourself some time and pressure.

But then again, to each their own. Just because Defender suits me doesn’t have to suit you too.

@sujatha1983 sir/maam since you want to remove windows defender it means you don’t need its protection but keep in mind that before removing it just disable all windows defender protection whether in windows defender itself or use defender control for highest chances of disabling all protection at once but make sure to disable first the tamper protection in windows defender before using defender control good luck

Jerry Sir, your link did my job upto most extent, now i try to download the same file from Mr Spacely's thread its not getting deleting automatically and is opening. But i couldn't still open the security canter as its still freezing and the whole windows is whitish in background

Why are you messing up things.
Just use one of programs/scripts were given to you.
Use one of them not all of them.
All the programs were suggested above are working, you are doing something wrong.
The script I have given you disable defender (totally) and now on top of this you are trying to use another one, why?

I think there is a basic misunderstanding here:

Remove vs. disable.
It's a different story if you want Defender to be completely removed from a system, and different if you just want it to be disabled which means it's still there, just not functioning. Some people and scripts they suggested do a removal, while others disable but you never... ever mix the two. Windows is fragile as it is,

To make things worse, your issue as @Phrankie pointed out is that you didn't "read" before you use the scripts. For Defender to be either removed or disabled, you must first turn off the antitamper protection (and all other real-time protections) which as its name suggests doesn't allow scripts or programs to interfere and cause damage to Windows binaries (defender is one of them) and doesn't allow the changes to happen. If it was that simple to disable Defender, all the viruses would do that just to be able to spread faster.

Now after so many different scripts and tries, God only knows in what state your system is. If none of the scripts work and you are left with a system that can't access window security options while Defender still works, the only viable way I see is to try in safe mode since a lot of Windows services are disabled in that state, you can revert to a previous day using system restore or format.

Please understand that as a forum, we can only do so many things. Sadly some solutions need hands-on on the PC and not theory talk.
I don't think there is anything more to offer here, just do a system restore or if you use a lite version... format, and next time try on a VM before you try something on your live system.

I made it clear from my first post that disabling or removing windows defender is two different things.
The program he used uploaded by @Mr. Spacely is only for disabling WD and not for removing it.
Removing WD is hard to be done, if you don't have the knowledge or the right programs to do it.
Thats why I uploaded that script for @sujatha1983 to be able to disable WD (totally) but he preffered to try all the programs suggested here, now as you said his system is messed up.
Good luck on him, hope he had made a backup which I doubt it.
