METHOD 4

METHOD 4 (best one) --- Create 4gb .vhd file and install windows 10 slim build and boot it Actual system work what you want...
How to boot >VHD direct from boot
For Legacy User -- Use EasyBCD Create new >VHD Boot Entry ....
For Uefi User-- Use Grub File Manager(a1ive grub2 file manager) -- brouse Location and boot it.....

There is no way to my knowledge that someone can install windows 10 lite/slim/thin/OnDiet/ in a 4 GB space, VHD or not. The iso might be 1-2 Gb but when the files are installed, they cant be less than 10 GB, let alone swap, etc, and then you need room for the application you want to test plus any security software to scan it. The only notable exception is windows PE.

Not saying that using VHDx is a bad way, but it's not the best way either as you claim. I've been using VHDx since 2005 when MS bought Virtual PC software (who remembers that?) especially to move the same OS/Software through various VMs and/or across various servers.

Just to give the benefit of the doubt, in your opinion, what's the advantage of a 30 GB VHD vs a 30 GB partition vs a 30 GB VM for testing reasons? In my view, if anything, it can be more trouble than using a sandbox/vm, 'cause one has to waste time with restarts/reboots.

It should probably be noted that any use of Windows Virtualization components will conflict with VMware hypervisors. they do not play well together.
(I will check and see if that extends to standalone Windows Sandbox.)
They can co exist but only if either you totally deactivate Windows Components and reboot then run VMware or together but you lose nested virtualization and other performance losses from VMware.

Another option is Comodo Antivirus which has built in sandboxing as well as a virtual desktop.

I can install software in Sandbox and gen a cereal number for the program. (Trying not to use bad words here lol)
I can then copy the cereal when I install for real on my physical.
Some software like Mo are more involved, and by its nature the medicine can mimic bad stuff.
I would prefer not to put the medicine on my physical system (if possible).
Can the following be done: medicine Mo in the sandbox. After Install of Mo on physical, just copy the vaccinated files to my physical.
Is this possible to do? Will it work? Not just for Mo, but for every app.

With even the free VM Player having TPM now, how does VmWare compare with the rest?
1. Vm Player has TPM, and mostly encrypts virtual hard drive, but does not require a password
2. VmWare Workstation Pro has TPM, encrypts virtual hard drive, requires password
3. VmWare WS Pro offers secure boot
4. Are both of these equally safe for banking online?
5. VmWare Tools allow physical and virtual to copy/paste.
6. Does this mean the bad guys can travel between physical & Virtual? And hide and wait?
7. If so is it safer to not use Vm Tools at all?
8. Will an encrypted virtual hard drive handle all these new type threats?
