JPEGmini Pro is a minimalistic application that allows a user to compress and hence, reduce the size of JPEG photos considerably but without affecting the quality of the image in any way.

The program comes with a fresh and modern interface that is highly intuitive and should not give the user any troubles. As indicated in the UI, a user can drag and drop the photos to get started, and a user will be happy to learn that the tool performs the decompression automatically. The application saves some space on a hard drive without comprising on quality.

It is worth mentioning that the utility features several templates for decompression, namely small, medium, large, max-width, and max height. On the other hand, the user cannot modify the settings of the templates, as he has fixed b sizes. On a side note, a user should know that there are some differences between JPEGmini and the Pro version, namely that the later is capable of optimizing photos up to 60MP, whereas the standard version does not go beyond 28MP. Also, the PRO version works eight times faster and comes with a plugin and an extension for Lightroom and Photoshop.

In the eventuality that users need to save some space on the hard drive where store hundreds or even thousands of pictures while making sure the quality is preserved, then perhaps JPEGmini PRO could lend user a hand.

Maybe I did something wrong.

In photoshop, when I go to "Window" -> Extensions (Legacy) -> JPEGMini , I have an error window

In Lightroom, in the Plugin manager it says that I can't use the license.

What am I doing wrong?

I downloaded this to see if I could help you and I get the same problem. I tried the Lightroom plugin and saw the same error message.
I installed the stand alone app and that does seem to work although it doesn't seem to do anything that you couldn't do by resizing in Lightroom or Photoshop.
The standalone app might be useful to people who don't have any other editor but, IMO, it is not worth the bother for Lightroom and Photoshop users.

In lightroom, when you export your raw files to JPEG, you can apply plenty of rules, like resizing, framing, watermark, logo, signature, ... ...
So, it could be really usefull to have the ligthroom plugin working.

Regarding the message in Photoshop, to remove it, by modifying the Registry

CSXS.10 because I use the last version of Photoshop, but it can different depending of the Photoshop version

Hi there. Have you found a way to make the Lightroom plugin work? I'm facing the same issue. Google search does not help either. I guess the app is not that common. The standalone app and PS plugin works though.
