My KIS would not activate with the serial but not too worry, I found a working KRT club (I know I can't upload this and put the link here as external links are not allowed, but..)
I found a way you don't need to use KRT club! Unless I am allowed to upload KRT club & put the external link here

Uninstall any Kaspersky products from Control Panel (Normal uninstall or using uninstaller software), Then restart your PC

You must be registered for see links

.

Open the Run command box (Windows + R buttons from Keyboard), and type Regedit then press Enter.

From Registry, Go to >>> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >>> SOFTWARE >>> Microsoft >>> SystemCertificates >>> SPC.

Delete “Certificates” Folder.

Go to Kaspersky Official Website and Download any Free Trial Version and install it.

Done

If I turn off real-time protection to preinstall and update game, then afterthat, my game preinstallation and updates completed, can I exclude the same game folder that has new updated version files inside the game folder before I turn on back real-time protection?

Not surprising as the post is over 3 years old. Try a more recent version.

Have you tried my way?
You don't activate it, just run the free trial until that runs out,
then uninstall it, then delete the reg file, then re-install a new copy of KIS

I have tried all ways to get a new trial period, but keeps saying Trial Period has expired. It's a bit of a blow, because I found it quite good.

I've been using KIS for over 15 years one of the best. after COVID subcription 3 yr rates doubled. got tired of paying bloated prices. trial reset works great .
