Resizer is a batch image resizer. The application has an easy to use drag-n-drop interface with a variety of options, such as aspect ratio fit methods, target image formats, customizable output filename pattern, and more. The application is quick to install and does not surprise the user with unique options or choices. Users can run this software on any Windows version as it does not require resources more significant than those employed by the operating system. Simple interface that is organized into several areas and menus. However, most of its functions are present in the main window.
The primary purpose of the software is to process as many photos with the minimal effort required. Users can load a bunch of images by dragging and dropping them. Users can then start to add width and height values, select fitting methods, choose output formats, and overall quality. Furthermore, there are options regarding background color and filename patterns. Users can optimize the output files to match their requirements.
The application offers support for multiple fitting methods, meaning users can experiment with various choices to get the best possible results. Moreover, the output formats are plentiful, and the pre-set filename patterns allow quick modifications. Resizer supports multiple image formats like BMP, GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF.
- Convert and Rename images in batch mode;
- Support JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF and more;
- Resize, crop, change color depth, apply color effects, add text, watermark, and border effects;
- Search and replace texts in the file names;
- Support folder/non-folder structure.
What is new in version 2.1 (Released on June 06, 2020):
- Upgraded the built environment for improved support of newer platforms and other optimizations;
- Implemented command-line image processing, see "--process" and "--silent" options;
- Load product registration code using a file drag and drop;
- Enhancements for the installer and storage customization;
- Added the Corsican language: updated Italian, Dutch and Japanese languages.
- The list of supported platforms has been updated to Windows 2000 and later. Support for old Windows 9x platforms has been dropped.
