I'm surprised this official build popped out. Funny things is, former WinAmp dev "dro" started a side project long ago to provide fixes/updates, called WACUP; WinAmp community update project. I now wonder what will happen between those two since both declare each other dead, there's enmity between them.

Is there a changelog for this version? I'm using 5.8 build 3660 right now.

Open your search engine and type "winamp forum". Should be the first thing in results. Then under "Winamp" section click on "Winamp Discussion". And there the very first thread is "Winamp 5.9 RC1 Released" which lists everything.

For now, some very graphic clock widgets for XWidget, not seen in what was produced until now, in the same view point, a near completion (80% done) of a modern winamp skin, usable, graphic, with features 99,99% of previous skins lack : multiple views (desktop disposition), built-in cover art view, in animation view allowing for the collection of milkdrops which will be released alongside to be enclosed in the various skin views. ASREC soon to come :

Thank you, but it doesn't allow me to encode to aac. I have only mp3, ogg, flac, wav and wma options.

Winamp was my favourite audio player for years. I remember when I worked at a call center and listened to winamp in the background with no interface (controled with keyboard, ex ctrl+alt+x for play, ctrl+alt+b for next track, unchecked taskbar and systray in settings and boom! winamp is invisible, just in your ears, the supervisor don't see anything, you are just making boring sip calls asking people what they prefer, McDonalds or KFC?

hmm its not working for me. don't know why. everytime trying to run it always trying to send like an error log or something like that.
