Windows for core i3 : Suggestion Needed

Hi,
My laptop has core i3 2nd gen processor with only 2Gb of ram, it has also amd graphics included but the laptop is too slow to run w10 on it, could you please suggest me, which windows version I should choose to get better performance and speed?

on my 10-year-old laptop and it works like a charm cuz it's lightweight.

Just make 2gb of ram to make it 4gb so that your hdd wont be stressed very much because when that 2gb of ram is all used(when u open ram-eating apps like chrome) , the system will use the page file/swap file that is installed in your hdd and ur hdd would go 100% usage

You can "run" win 10 but watching the specs it will just "walk" not run .You can try it it if your ram is ddr3 . If it is ddr2 then stick with win 7. I suggest you win 7.

tomecar has uploaded the win 10 extreme mpb version which requires only 9gb of rom space, users are saying its too fast, should I test it as well? @kwengkicj


@DooDoon I think u r telling me about the basic windows, I want to try the modified ones, like mpb w10 lite or the extreme mpb w10, I think they are not that much hardware hungry os. But if I find them slow too then I will go for win7 super lite.

If Windows,only use a 32bit one. Or try Linux. Peppermint 32 bit will run fine on that machine.

If it's windows you need, go with windows 7.
