I installed Primocache with the hope of speeding up file transfer from one hard drive to an archive drive. Primocache did not give me the results I had hoped for so I uninstalled it. The problem is that uninstalling the program did not restore my cache drive to its original state. That drive does not appear in device manager, nor easeUS. How can I format that cache drive to become a regular drive if it does not come up in device manager??

If your ssd and controller support TRIM then the easiest way to COMPLETELY WIPE your ssd is to stop the array, unassign the SSD from the slots and from the console do: blkdiscard /dev/sd#
with sd# being the name of your ssd (e.g. sda; NVMe would be something like nvme0n1)

Be careful because if you put in the wrong device, you might accidentally wipe the wrong drive and there's no way back.
