EndNote X9 includes enhanced and improved reference-sharing capabilities, four new references types, and increased integration with the Web of Science for citation reports and manuscript matching. A researcher can use 'Manuscript Matcher' to find journals that might be interested in publishing personal work from EndNote library or from a Word document.
- Group sharing now gives you the ability to share personal groups with colleagues right from EndNote desktop library with both read-only or read-and-write access;
- A user got the sharing permissions ability to choose whether to share a complete library with either full 'Read-write' or the new 'Read-only' access rights. A user can select the access rights at the time of sharing, or adjust it later, and different access rights can be assigned to different users;
- Select and refresh from over 7000 references styles to format bibliography and citations;
- Updates to key bibliography styles such as Chicago, AMA, MLA, and APA;
- Select from new references types from the list of reference options;
- Citation reports from Web of Science help user to identify what impact research is having on his area of study;
- Generate a Web of Science citation report by selecting a group from the desktop and find out if the references you are citing are impactful and relevant;
- Create a list of journal suggestions that have the best fit for the personal manuscripts ('Manuscript matcher mode').
