{"Hello Guys its been almost a year i am having this issue regarding WIFI connectivity"

"What problem i am having?"
"There is this strange error with my laptop, Sometimes the inbuilt WIFI adapter doesn't loads up while booting my laptop. I need to keep restarting the laptop (more like 20 to 30 times) and if i am lucky then the inbuilt wifi adapter shows up randomly. "

"What i have tried?"
"I have tried upgrading and downgrading the internal WIFI adapter. Result = problem persists
I have tried formatting the computer. Result = problem persists (even today i had to format my laptop like 5 times, when restarting my laptop 30 times did not work)
I have tried switching WinXP, Win7, Win8.1, Win10, Win11 and Win11H23 along with Ubuntu 20.04. Result = problem persist Win11H23 worked fine for sometime until last night.
I have tried visiting the service center. Result = problem persist (they did a full hardware checkup and formatted my laptop and said everything has been sorted out and has checked as working fine)"

"Anyone facing the same issue or have any ideas to share, its really appreciated."

"sorry for my bad english"}

If the software has been changed and the hardware has been changed then all I can think of is the bios, or the physical wifi slot may be dirty or not working. Try resetting the bios to defaults or updating the bios. You could try cleaning the slot the wifi card goes into with Ipa alcohol or contact cleaner. Does the card show up in the device manager but not work or is not found at all? You could use usb wifi if all else fails.

I Had a problem with my Dell Inspiron Laptop Wifi, turned out being a physical pinched WiFi antenna ... had gotten caught in the laptop hinge and got severed enough to lose reception.

Throwing that model into search engine reveals that for some reason the WiFi module needs "reseating" aka take it out and put it back in. Contacts oxidized perhaps?
If different operating systems, especially Linux, can't solve the issue, then the issue is with the hardware itself.

Vdogeek is correct, that's why I asked if the device is found but not working then it is broken antenna. The repair shop should have checked when they changed the card, it happens more than people think. If you aren't comfortable reseating the card then best return it to whoever changed the card.

Seeing how it's Hp, there can be bios isssues with wifi cards in Hp laptops, they are very picky which ones they like up to whitelisting specific cards only.

Device model HP Laptop 15s-ey1

There is no need to perform 30 reformat and install OS other than Windows 10 & 11,
to figure out that the issue may already be a hardware issue.

Can you confirm that your device was serviced by Authorized HP service center?
If they have deemed there was no issue with the device, you could already request a device replacement provided it is still within warranty period.

If already out of warranty,

you can sell it and buy a new device to replace it or just use Ethernet port if you cannot afford a replacement yet.

Things you can check on the currently installed OS

Device manager

Press Alt + X, Select device manager
Look for your WLAN model AX411, AX211, AX210, AX101, AX201, AX203, AX200, 9461, 9462, 9560, 9260

Right click on the WLAN model, Select Properties
Look for Power management tab
Be sure to disable this to avoid turning off the Wifi
QLwmFd.png

Disable Fast Boot
Press Window key to bring up Start menu
Type Power Plan plan
Click on the UP arrow on the upper left corner to go up one level

Choose what the Power buttons do
Click on change settings that are not currently available
Uncheck or Disable Turn of Fast startup or Fast Boot
Click Save changes

That picture show that Your OS didn't even find that WiFi module!
Check in BIOS is it enabled
HP usually have visible blue/orange LED bulb /to show You that wifi work or not.Does it light up at all?

Also check is it surface on that LED Clean! At same time that is also a switch for WiFi so...

Rather then what You show, go to Network icon near the watch / down right /, right click and click on "Open Network & Internet Options
then >> change adapter settings then You shall have >>

Try to install this driver Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 Driver (Windows 10 only)
https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/rtl8821ce-software

You do understand that the first step would be to contact manufacturer support which is HP Support not Local tech support
They could perform Remote session to assess the issue without needing a Reformat to the OS to isolate if it is a software driver issue or a hardware issue.
After that they will recommend you to have the device serviced by Authorized HP service center.

But as it stands, you are better off replacing the device outright since you have exhausted all the software troubleshooting you can perform.
Including the input provided by the other users.

No amount of software tweaking will resolve a hardware issue.

That says it all.
It has nothing to do with windows or linux version.
It has nothing to do with driver versions.

From the moment the problem is on boot I would suggest you to do two things:
1. BIOS Update
2. Check if Realtek adapter is inserted well in port. Try reseat it.
3. Try another WiFi adapter.

If doing 1 nothing happens, go to 2. If 2 doesn't work go to 3.
If 3 has the same problem then the port on the m/b might have a problem.
Put your adapter on another notebook and check its behaviour.

Realtek adapters (like as Atheros) are not known to be very good though...
If you can find an Intel one, do some test with that.

The bios is fine, leave it alone as this seems to be a bad wifi adapter.

Usb wifi adapters are very cheap, get one.

With this being said, can we count this as resolved?

Fyi, USB hubs are cheap too.
