well, my intent is to use the other one for regular downloading . the main one im currently using is exclusively for seeding.

Mmm, nope. Even if you for e.g. made a copy of the executable, they still will use the same working folders, which may cause conflicts between them. Not sure how simple qbitorrent is though.
Best to install a new torrent client that is not qbitorrent.

Yup can be done very easily in varied ways. But the resource used will get double, even if portable or bin wise.

No benefits for this. A single instance can solve all the problems. If you'll use more you may:

1. throtle your connection
2. too many reads/writes wich may result in a short life for your hdd, especially if is mechanical and/or write/read errors and low access speed
3. more unnecesary cpu usage
4. an unstable system, even BSODs and/or restarts
5. huge cache needed, more virtual memory / RAM needed

Very true. More headache. Though portable one uses 33-35% less of everything. Did a comparison myself few weeks ago, for 3 days.
