Is there a Win7x86 version of " LicenseMalwareBytes.exe "?I saw it, was in "Download", error was corrected. Thank you
Not able to run LicenseMalwareBytes.exe even when privilege level is checked for the program to run as an administrator. Once the cmd is up, it stated "Please run this program as an administrator" Running on Windows 7 currently. Anybody have any idea for it?
@juanamm works fine even windows 10 1809 LTSC and even on latest update (20h1, 2004)
Same thing here unable to work in Windows 10 build 2004. Same problem and error as user above:
''I still didnt get this one to work... keeps saying "+> Please run the program as an administrator" .
Tried in cmd as admin.. and run as admin by rightclick..(cmd opens for a quick sec with same "+> Please run the program as an administrator"
Anyone try on Windows 10 Build 2004?
Is there a Win7x86 version of " LicenseMalwareBytes.exe "?
WTF is this mess? ^^^^ If it works, fine. If it doesn't work remove this thread.I have seen users who cannot run LicenseMalwareBytes.exe file as administrator.
I have also seen that others have not been able to activate the license.
Others ask if it can be run on Win7x86 version and others ask if it works on Windows 10 build 2004.
I will reply to everyone and even share today's screenshots of it STILL WORKING!
Prerequisites: I have done these tests on a full stock version of Windows 10.
I have not tested in modified versions, customs, lite etc
If you have any version of the latter, ask the developer of these builds how to solve your problem.
I have not tested it on Windows 7 either because I do not use that OS, but I have seen users who report that it works on Win7 but not on Win10 or vice versa.
With this last I have answered @CaptainK with his doubt with Win7.
Now I will answer @teefatt with his doubt with Windows 10 Build 2004 and all the others who use other versions of Win10 who have not been able to run the license file or even having done so, have not been able to activate Malwarebytes Premium.
With the annotated screenshots I have tried to prove that this activation method still works.
I have also proven that LicenseMalwareBytes.exe file can be run as administrator, either directly from Windows with the mouse or by console, in this case I have used PowerShell so that they see that it does not only work in CMD.
If it still doesn't work for you, you're going to have to carefully read the instructions I've shared at the beginning of this thread, see ALL the screenshots, even the ones in the spoiler.
Remember if you are using a stock or modified/custon/lite version of Windows.
If you are not using a full stock version, you will have to ask the developer who built that version, otherwise something is missing that will not work for you.
You will also have to look at the firewall you are using, be it Windows Defender or another to see if the application is blocking you.
Check all my previous answers, you will find screenshots to see if port 9999 is open and listening on your PC, or is closed or blocked.
Maybe you have not understood my previous post, read it well please.WTF is this mess? ^^^^ If it works, fine. If it doesn't work remove this thread.
I applaud the moderators efforts and thank you for your comments. I did not have a doubt that it works or not on Windows 7, but since I am running W7 32 bit, my question was whether a 32BIT VERSION of the activation file existed? Please leave this thread here, it is very helpful.WTF is this mess? ^^^^ If it works, fine. If it doesn't work remove this thread.
I am gonna have to vote this one down at this time for the following reasons. First thing it does is erase all you system restore points, then it disables your firewall and destroys your Defender AV, then it turns off your Task Manager and drops the rlvknlg.exe..........this is my experience only, your mileage may vary. It took me a couple hours to recover.I applaud the moderators efforts and thank you for your comments. Please check you system for " rlvknlg.exe file is a backdoor proxy component " after running the Licensing executable and make sure your firewall is working
