Yeah, Windows Subsystem feature is there, but also needs Virtual Machine Platform feature which isn't available, so you can't actually install any distributions.
For the latest stuff, also need 'Hypervisor Platform' but can make do without it.

I tried modifying the install.wim to get this working but unfortunately my knowledge is very limited.

For everyone else that doesn't need this though, this OS is excellent and I highly recommend it!

Have you tried to enable Virtual machine services and features?

Change the background image, change theme or add your own theme, change the app or windows mode from light to dark.
Many solutions.........................choose the one you prefer

use tools like WinAero Tweaker to block some stuff....but....in global...this build is safe to use for sure..

great looking built. beautiful details.
the only issue is I cannot install Office. even after logging into Microsoft account. continues to display offline on settings/system. any idea what is missing or turned off?

What i mean is when you take many other systems he has modernized it has that style ( the icons and windows ) that makes it too colorful and not aesthetic

The shapes of the icons are too surreal and sometimes don't even remind the icon it should represent and the colors are hurting eyes when you look at it longer.
