Hmmm wonder if my USB is dying, I can't seem to get this installed on my laptop to try it out Installation error at 51% about sources. Latest Rufus 4.3.2
Will try to find another one and see if works.

Yeah, same Error on my end too

I've tried with two different USB sticks and I was using Rufus 3.18, 3.22 and 4.2!!!

Also I've tried with both partition tables: MBR (Legacy) and GPT (UEFI) in Rufus!!!

Nothing helped... Same error on the Same place...

Something is WRONG with the ISO itself... Probably with the Windows ISO creation technique/tools that were used for...

The ISO is Messed Up!!!

Sometimes bad disk on the PC or bad Memory can also cause this error. But I think my laptop is still in quite good condition. Trying one more time with different filesystem and disabling all fast/secureboot options in bios.

EDIT: @jazzbeat I formatted the USB as NTFS instead of FAT32, disabled secureboot and fastboot in bios and it seems the install is finally working! No error and rebooting now.
Hopefully this works for you? I think it might not on older UEFI systems but my laptop took it.

Also, run Rufus as Admin.

Welp. It happened again.

This build is beautiful, and I want to use it soooooo badly.

Windows Subsystem for Linux is available... But no Virtual Machine Platform which is requires!


For everyone else, highly recommend tho, I enjoyed my brief experience. Runs fast! Looks gorgeous! Everything works except this one thing I need for work.

Keep up the amazing work! Just next time if you're going to keep Linux Subsystem feature, please also include VirtualMachinePlatform cause it doesn't work without it
