The data could then be saved to a locally attached storage device, an SSH server, a Samba Server, or a Network File System share. The clone file can then be used to restore the original when needed.

Disk Erasing
Parted Magic comes with easy to use solutions for conventional overwrite. Internal Secure Erase. Wiping of only Free Space.

No Installation Required!
Parted Magic is a stand alone Linux operating system. Runs from a CD or USB drive. Nothing installed.

Disk Partitioning Software?
Disk partitioning divides a hard disk into multiple storage units referred to as partitions. A physical disk with multiple partitions is useful for running more than one operating system. Each Partition may use a different file system.

SSD Secure Erase?
When Parted Magic Secure Erase is issued against a SSD drive, all of its cells will be marked as empty.

Benchmarking Software?
A benchmark program tests the relative performance of computer by running a number of standard tests and trials against it.

this did end up glitching on me when i tried running it in Live Mode instead of "Run from RAM" mode, but i figured it was due to how i had it set to run in a multiboot USB method using YUMI, ill redo it on a fresh state, and if it glitches again, burn it to the stick using rufus, and if that doesnt work, then something might actually be wrong with this update to parted magic

Edit: this release of parted magic works fine, nothing is wrong with it, overall its a combo of user error and software error on my part

rufus worked just fine, apparently its YUMI (Legacy) that is at fault. I do have YUMI (UFEI) AND YUMI (exFat), but im not too keen on using those after the effort i went through getting this parted magic release to work

your best bet is to use rufus as GPT uefi ... if you have a modern mobo and use the legacy mode if you are running an older pc!

its fine, ill just stick with the older version of parted magic that i got with YUMI (Legacy) since it didnt give me troubles so far, plus i think even if i used one of the "try unlisted iso" options in YUMI exFAT or YUMI UFEI with 2022.09.04 parted magic, i'd run into the same issue

for now, this is a wait and see on a response from the YUMI dev
