it doesn't install on vmware virtual machine. I have created virtual machine with this ISO file, but it starts with black screen and something about ETF

What you mean "something about ETF" be more specific.
No one have compained so far for not being able to install it in a VM.

- is screen resolution hard set to max at 2048*1536? (wanted to change it to native 2560*1080 as in another vm)

TPM is bypassed.
Change usb port, usb flash, use the usb port at the back side of your motherboard.
Update your system drivers.
Merge your HDD...............

Great build. Is there a way to change time zone from US&Canada time as there is no option to change system clock apart from manually inputting time? Because browser and browser apps check system time, not the manual one. Thank you in advance

Go from control panel
Control Panel\Clock and Region\change the time zone
