Uefi Information

Hello,

(i'm french, so sorry for my english, no the best ...)

I was searching over the forum but didn't find information about it, so i post my question here in hope you can answer/help me.

I'm going to reinstall my windows and going for a custom OS, probably W8.1 Pro Gamer Edition as i use it most for playing and sometime as Media computer, movie, TV, music, Twitch ...

My question is, does this custom OS (W8.1 Pro Gamer Edition) can be installed in UEFI ?
My computer can do it, i did it already one time few years ago but i don't know if i need a specific version of windows too.

If you think my choice of OS isn't the best for what i usually do with it, i'm taking all advice.
I have an I7 4770K, 32Go RAM, GTX 780 Ti, MB : GA-Z87X-UDH3, SSD.

hello for all your bootable needs i would defiantly use RUFUS, take a look at this

i think my english isn't so good lol. you didn't understand the meaning of my question question or it's too obvious for you but not for me.
I'll try to say it more simply.

The custom OS W8.1 Pro ... can be installed in "normal" and "UEFI" mode or just "normal" but not "UEFI" ?

I didn't understand if UEFI depend only from "computer spec" or "computer spec and Operating System".

Hope i'm more clear.

i understood perfectly fine , and i should off said all windows can be installed using rufus UEFI or NOT

rufus will sort out that, the technical jargon
