Hi all,

I just got an HP Omen and wanted to upgrade the RAM from 16GB (single stick) to 32GB.

But when entering my part numbers, I get all kinds of responses. I want to make sure its the same as what I have.

It says HyperX on it but it also says Kingston on the label. Plus it says 2933 and I don't know if that's Mhz or what! (I've been out of the computer parts world for awhile).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! If you have any Amazon links that would be even better.

Here's an image: ht***://freeimage.host/i/2xbmJa

Thanks all!!

Get Hyper X 16gb SODIMM 2933mhz ddr4 SINGLE CHANNEL.

But I recommend getting a DUAL-CHANNEL 32gb, but you won't be able to reuse your old ram.

Hyper X is a gaming brand of Kingston.

What's the big advantage over just getting another 16gb?

Dual-channel is faster than a single channel, and you can just upgrade to a higher frequency. But you have to know the Ram frequency range of your laptop.
