I think u'll have to follow 'the trial & error way'. check for yourself. But, since it can handle everything that I throw at it's way, so, yes...I guess indesign should work.

Thanks I am installing now. If ever it does not work what OS would you recommend I only have 6gb of ram. This official windows 10 is already taking half of it no apps opened.

The OS is great. I have more free RAM than before. I also created another user and disable the Administrator. Am I doing it right? It still keep showing on logon screen

I'd say u might consider 1) Slim Build XXL & 2) Greenbox if this one for some reason doesn't work out for u. I tried both. They r very powerful too...although I've a gut feeling...that nothing is better than this particular one. I'm sticking to it & will continue to do so.

Since I don't use wifi, I wouldn't know. But there r plenty of choices. Read the specs carefully & try whichever suits ur needs.

I think I will stick to this build for another 6months or til tom release another that is free. As of now I cannot afford both Greenbox and the other I liked is PorcelainOS.
InDesign is working as well as other Adobe apps. Hopefully when I opened Adobe apps this build still run smooth.

By the way I a am aware that Windows Update and Defender are disable, would this leave me vulnerable though I am just a regular user. I installed also Eset for protection

Windows update is not important, but yeah Defender is a problem thing, but let me tell you, "I never encountered a single virus / malware since last 3 years", this was an issue in old days where PC world was new and insecure, nowadays Microsoft did patched mostly everything that its less likely be possible new malware in market, also Chrome and Firefox are the mostly secure browsers, they wont let you download or visit any harmful content, however precaution should be taken, Not by installing any antivirus but just installing trusted softwares and not clicking any ads or harmful websites also by avoiding plugging pendrives from other people's PC (use NTFS and secure property trick if in case), antivirus these days are just Scams and 90% source of new viruses, idk if anyone experienced but just after end of Subscription, your PC "Magically" get full of Malware * think *.

final verdict, use Unmodified Windows build by TheRain if you concern lack of Security updates and Defender on this build, and seed and Enjoy

1. Win def. is not good AV at all..
2. U have never use Panda Dome (cloud base) AV <<----- FREE!!!.. its cloud av..so any new info about any malware / virus go instantly to ur pc when ur online..u dont need to update anything..watch anything..do anything..

Hi, I'm a noob here.
I installed this OS on my old laptop. All works fine, except that a few icons are blank such as the recycle-bin,certain icons on system properties screen,etc.
Is this fixable? Any specific steps that I need to follow?

I use ESET Internet Security. TC & others Mods/Modders here have been recommending Panda Dome as the best free option all over this community.

Great build TC. Gonna try this on my old ancient desktop with only 4GB of RAM that can do x64 OS's.

Any chance getting this build in x86 Free flavor for my touch screen tablet hybrid (2GB RAM) that can't handle x64 since x64 drivers where never made for it. It is my daily for most things. It is an Acer Switch 10.

The only parts I would ask to be added (If possible):
(Everything included already should stay there. Like Black Viper Service Tweaks which can be added to x86 OS's)
(Some might add a bit of a load on this build but it shouldn't be to high)

-RainMeter
-OldNewExplorer (Might already be included. Shown on one of the screen-captures)
-Menu Mods on other builds like PorcelainOS & other vids.
-TouchScreen drivers. Since a lot of the the low spec hybrid devices do touchscreen. Or can we add them thru the manufacture drivers ?

Optional (Might start to compile a list of all the alternatives being listed on all the threads for this apps):

-Best Docks for Windows 10 option (Can probably be added thru 3rd party or add-on).
-Microsoft Win32Calc with Metro Skin (Can probably be added thru 3rd party or add-on).
