seeing an error code 0x80070002. can someone please help me with this? Thjanks
Now let me see. Man, u gave a lot to go on, not. Was it on install, after install? During a nookie?
I take it was while u were trying to install the OS u got the error & u did not duckduckgo (I hate google)
the error code & spend hours wading thru the page of blah blah blah
Basically, pull out all the leads, (the power leads will do), to the other drives and then put the USB drive into the computer casing or into the back of the mobo; don't use extension leads with your USB drive to install your new OS
I did not bother to check the error code either as u did not bother to give more information about yor problem.
If I happen to guess right. cool
I have installed plenty of OSes in my time going back to 98SE & Amiga
I never had not much trouble no swearing couldn't fix, but I am stumped at this one;
I must me getting too old for this sh!t
During the install when it came to asking to connect to the WWW, I had no choice.
It did not recognise my wireless. Which is a bit rich since us Aussies invented wireless & it is Australia Day today.
But others would call it Invasion Day, and I am one of them.
Well I plugged in a 10m ethernet cable I just happened to have lying around & the rest of the install continued
The install finished, but there is no option to connect via wifi.
After doing checks here & there, I found that - WLAN AutoConFig, WlanSvc gives an error1068.
Windows could not start the WLAN AutoConfig service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start
I even tried a reg solution where I deleted 2 minor bits of a reg file, but it did not work.
I read this post and saw the same problem over the page.
I restart wwan autoconfig from services and make it automatic
I checked the below services to see if they were running
- Application Layer Gateway Service
- Network Connections
- Network Location Awareness (NLA)
- Plug and Play
- Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
- Remote Access Connection Manager
- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Telephony
Application Layer Gateway Service, Remote Access Auto Connection Manager & Telephony were not running (they were not even walking) and did not start when I tried to start them.
Network Connections was not running, but started when I started it
I updated ALL the drivers with ones from the MSI website (yes, they are thelatest)
I re-booted the computer and guess what? I'll tell you next week
just kidding
It is the same
