I am not a tech guy and am just trying to resurrect a old laptop. Hence, I asked this question. I am fed up of Linux installed on this laptop due to driver incompatibility and need a decent performance with windows. However defender is must for me, and almost all lite releases on this forum are devoid of Defender and Security Centre at the least.
As far as your description goes, I believe Security Centre is considered as app. Hence I am in dilemma.

when defender is gone, security centre is gone also
you can install your AV and you won't have a problem

Hey all, I've seen some confusing talk in the chat and I thought I'd help out a little.

Defender and security center IS in this build.

If you have square corners after install just change the themes and you'll find that they fix it for you.

This is also IMO the very best out of the 4 current releases. It literally has everything you could want and only has the useless rubbish that slows the system down removed.

Time for me to do this fresh as my physical machine is using a stock modded version and isn't as smooth as this is even running in a VM.

Best way to avoid "pc requirements issue" is to replace the /sources /install.esd of a windows 10 iso with the install.wim from windows 11 iso.
Use poweriso for deployment and Rufus to make the usb

The whole installation environment will be from win 10 but after the first reboot everything will be set straight.

Extra Language can be installed but it is incomplete. For example, setting greek ui the result is half greek half English

Also there is an issue with windows gadgets.
The container window can't deploy. It's just a line.
Maybe it's a resolution issue...

The remarkable is that an old AMD gfx x550 works as it should without BSODs.
Didn't tried old Nvidias. I've not tested it personally.

P. S. : startisback 2.9 is not loading causing screen blinking . Need to press escape to avoid loading it.
