I installed it twice on two different laptops, but it never allowed me to choose the Windows version - both times I got Windows 11 Home. (there was no version menu in the process). I don't understand wtf...

At the moment you are the only one with this issue.
Have you touched the iso?

Your Laptop is clearly using OEM Keys. Which is automatically recognized and automatically activated genuinely by Microsoft.
