Soo NICE! Thanks Rain
hmmm yeah im see you are really wanna install this in your hardware...so you can also try find some tools in google about how integrate usb 3.0 drivers in your boot.wim maybe that help you during the installation is not hard....im suggest you search in forum Mydigitallife you will get good support and they help you do it ..you are using ryzen right?Ok, so after trying various settings in the BIOS, i had to disable secure boot from 'UEFI Windows' to 'Other OS', thanks to the auto unattended it's now installed from boot option ijn BIOS and i got to the desktop, this is the furthest iv got trying to install Win 7 on my board so far, the only trouble now is my keyboard & mouse don't operate because im guessing this operating system does not have USB 3 drivers installed, suggestions anyone?
yeah in this case cauze i have ryzen too and i have done my research in ryzens only i understand is too find the usb 3.0 / 3.1 drivers for ryzens and integrate them in both boot.wim / install.wim ...when i rebuild my system with the ryzen 1600 i tried too install the lovely win 7 but i get stuck with same thing like you mouse and key died no moving nothing so i choose too go win 10 I have negotiate with my pc ....so when you do topic etc in mdl give full details of your hardware i hope they will help you!Haha yes Ryzen 1700x on Crosshair VI Hero MB, this usb thing seems to a known problem with Ryzen. Thanks for your reply, i have tried to intergrate the USB 3 drivers into the .wim file, the problem there is that there is no 'install.wim' with this OS image, i found the 'boot.wim', but why no 'install.wim', so i guess i can't intergrate them easily. I'll check out Mydigitallife and see what help and options are available. Im just going to try plugging my SSD with this pre-installed OS into an old PC with only USB 2 ports and if it boots up properly im then going to try an install the USB 3 drivers from ASUS and once finished plug my SSD back into my good PC and see what happens, if it fails the Mydigitallife can hopefully help. I'll update with future news on this mission, could be good as a reference for any Ryzen users that stumble on the same issue as this.
Just out of curiosity, do you know if the 'install.wim' is supposed to be in the image or is it something i could create myself?
Respects
