Sometimes it happens that there is an urgent need to install, reinstall or clone a Windows system, and there is no flash drive or DVD at hand - there is only an ISO image. In this case, the program will help WinToHDD .
WinToHDD is a program that allows you to install, reinstall, or clone an operating system using an ISO image with a distribution kit or CD / DVD media, if you have one. Installation can be done on a physical disk or in a virtual hard disk file (VHD or VHDX).
With this simple application you can:
• reinstall Windows if you have an ISO installation image or from a CD / DVD disc
• install Windows again from a CD or DVD disc or if you have an ISO installation file
• clone an already installed Windows operating system to another HDD or SSD drive
• creating multi-boot USB
When installing or reinstalling the operating system, the user is allowed to select one of its available editions. Their list may vary depending on the Windows distribution used. Of course, it is possible to select a partition for installing the system and a boot partition in which the necessary system files will be placed. When installing the system in a file, you can specify the desired size. After completing the file copying procedure, WinToHDD can automatically restart the computer, proceed to complete the installation of the system: configure devices, create profiles, and so on. Actually, everything that the program does is: it allows you to skip the first stage of installation, where usually the files of the operating system are copied from a USB flash drive or disk.
When cloning, WinToHDD completely transfers the active system to the disk selected by the user, with all user data and settings saved. Cloning is convenient to use when moving the system to a new hard drive you just bought, for example. Just in case, we warn that after transferring the system to another computer in this way, there may be problems with loading it.
