Ah the task scheduler. Precisely the reason why i didn't buy that 5950x, the second reason was the cpu costs so much id have gotten a 3080 instead of a 3090. Anyway that 16 core cpu as advertised is more like 2 8 core cpu's. Think of it like 2x 8 core chiplets that have to continuously talk to each other whilst all this is going on the task schedular gets insanely confused which do i allocate for what. Me i whet Monolithic Architecure route all 10 cores onone cpu.
Just to be precise, the issue with the task scheduler affects some apps that use extensive multithreading (like rendering applications) or if someone runs multiple VMs and/or applications concurrently and not much else like games or single apps etc, and it's fixed since 1903 and further improved on the following versions of windows and so there is no issue of having a 12+ core CPU as long as you use 1903 and above. I have a TR 3970 (32c/64t) and I can tell you that it is true, since I tested it myself.

Prolly if you can check the logs. They may hint the reason. Though logs on Windows can be a mess, still. Verbose checking may help too.
Its not strictly meant for gaming, and I noticed some problems on valorant too. I suggest you try the Gamer Elegant Edition(by the same guy). I will leave a ling below.
